Loyola ranked No. 4 in north by U.S. News & World Report

Āé¶¹¾«Ń” was ranked No. 4 among the āBest Regional Universitiesā in the North Region in U.S. News & World Reportās āBest Collegesā rankings for 2023. Loyola has been recognized in the top five for more than a decade.
The publication also ranked Loyola No. 1 among the āBest Colleges for Veteransā in the North Region. The ranking recognized Loyolaās participation in federal initiatives that help make pursuing a college degree more affordable for veterans and active-duty service members. Loyola offers a range of programs and resources for the military community.
In addition, U.S. News & World Report ranked Loyola:
- No. 4 for āUndergraduate Teaching - Regional Universities Northā
- No. 11 among the āMost Innovative Schools - Regional Universities Northā (tie)
- No. 49 for āBest Undergraduate Engineering - No Doctorateā (tie)
- No. 56 for āFirst-Year Experiencesā (tie)
- No. 59 among the āBest Value Schoolsā
The University was also ranked for its undergraduate business (No. 108) and computer science (No. 172) programs.

To calculate the rankings, U.S. News & World Report analyzed 1,500 U.S. bachelorās degree-granting institutions on 17 measures of academic quality, including retention and graduation rates, class sizes, student-faculty ratios, and average federal loan debt of graduates.
